With Poland, RCM strengthens its presence in Central Europe

Founded 25 years ago by Robert Pakosz, Inter-Car Silesia has embodied the passion and excellence of Mercedes-Benz in Poland for a quarter of a century, at the heart of the Silesia region.

The first meeting between Inter-Car Silesia and the RCM Group took place two years ago and led to the signing of a preliminary agreement in the summer of 2025. Yesterday, in Katowice, in the presence of advisors and partners, the closing and official handover were completed in a spirit of continuity and trust.

Robert Pakosz stated: “I am pleased that Inter-Car Silesia is joining the SAGA family. I am very satisfied with the way the entire process unfolded, the transparency of our discussions, and the fact that Inter-Car Silesia is becoming part of the RCM Group, a leading player in the European market. In 2025, Inter-Car Silesia sold approximately 2,200 Mercedes-Benz vehicles through its two dealerships located in the Katowice metropolitan area — in Ruda Śląska and Świerklany, near Rybnik — establishing itself as a leading player in southern Poland.

With this transaction, the RCM Group continues the expansion of its SAGA network in Central Europe, confirming Poland’s strategic role in its regional development following the acquisition of the Prague branches in 2023. This new milestone further strengthens the Group’s footprint along this key European corridor.
