Highfield France produces RIBs that are recognised throughout the world for their strength, light weight and exceptional seaworthiness.
Highfield France’s head office is located in the Vendée and its operational site is in Brest. Highfield relies on a network of independent distributors throughout France, mainly in coastal areas.
Time and time again, Highfield France has been chosen as a partner for prestigious events all over the world. From the Vendée Globe to the Invictus Games, the Pan Am Games, the Extreme Sailing Series, the ORC Championships, the TP52 and the Route du Rhum, Highfield has been there to ensure the safety of the skippers.
Highfield's history
2011
The Highfield brand was created by Australian designer Scott Wilson and French designers Julien Carussi and
Yves Brintet.
2016
Highfield France became an official partner of the Vendée Globe, the world’s largest round-the-world yacht race.
The brand provided a fleet of 42 RIBs to ensure the safe start and finish of this legendary event.
2018
Highfield France became a partner of the Route du Rhum, a collaboration that represented a major step forward
in our commitment to world-renowned sailing events. A total of 43 RIBs were provided to assist with the start and
finish of this event.
2020
Highfield France once again took on the role of guardian angel for the 2020 Vendée Globe. The brand also created
a special Vendée Globe limited edition of its acclaimed Patrol 660 and Patrol 760 models.
2022
Highfield France returned as official supplier to the 2022 Route du Rhum, providing 51 limited edition Patrol rigid
inflatables to support the organisation of the event.
2023
HF France, a subsidiary of RCM which acquired the shares of Groupe YB (Yves Brintet), has been Highfield’s
distributor in France since 1 January 2023.
2023
Highfield France signed a partnership with the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez (SNST) for the
“Voiles de Saint-Tropez” regatta and produced a Highfield LVSY Limited Edition with its Mediterranean Sport
range of over 15 boats.
2024
Highfield France became an Official Supporter of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, providing
91 rigid inflatables to help ensure the success of the Opening Ceremony and to support the nautical events
taking place in Paris and Marseille.
With 46,000 boats sold worldwide since its launch in 2011 and 10,000 produced by 2022, Highfield Boats has
established itself as the world leader in aluminium tenders and RIBs and a global player in the over 5-metre sector.
