Highfield's history

The Highfield brand was created by Australian designer Scott Wilson and French designers Julien Carussi and

Yves Brintet.

Highfield France became an official partner of the Vendée Globe, the world’s largest round-the-world yacht race.

The brand provided a fleet of 42 RIBs to ensure the safe start and finish of this legendary event.

Highfield France became a partner of the Route du Rhum, a collaboration that represented a major step forward

in our commitment to world-renowned sailing events. A total of 43 RIBs were provided to assist with the start and

finish of this event.

Highfield France once again took on the role of guardian angel for the 2020 Vendée Globe. The brand also created

a special Vendée Globe limited edition of its acclaimed Patrol 660 and Patrol 760 models.

Highfield France returned as official supplier to the 2022 Route du Rhum, providing 51 limited edition Patrol rigid

inflatables to support the organisation of the event.

HF France, a subsidiary of RCM which acquired the shares of Groupe YB (Yves Brintet), has been Highfield’s

distributor in France since 1 January 2023.

Highfield France signed a partnership with the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez (SNST) for the

“Voiles de Saint-Tropez” regatta and produced a Highfield LVSY Limited Edition with its Mediterranean Sport

range of over 15 boats.

Highfield France became an Official Supporter of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, providing

91 rigid inflatables to help ensure the success of the Opening Ceremony and to support the nautical events

taking place in Paris and Marseille.

With 46,000 boats sold worldwide since its launch in 2011 and 10,000 produced by 2022, Highfield Boats has

established itself as the world leader in aluminium tenders and RIBs and a global player in the over 5-metre sector.
